Daura Claims Tinubu is Beat-able in 2027 Election

Lawal Musa Daura, the vice-presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), asserted that President Bola Tinubu can be defeated in the upcoming 2027 presidential election. During an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Daura expressed confidence in the opposition's chances, attributing this to mistakes made by the Tinubu administration.

He emphasized that he knows Tinubu personally, stating, “President Bola Tinubu is not a stranger to me,” and highlighted their long-standing friendship. Daura also reflected on his service under former President Muhammadu Buhari, expressing that he misses Buhari and criticized sycophants who surrounded him.

Furthermore, Daura explained his support for the Makinde-Daura presidential ticket, noting their shared vision for Nigeria and the need to “reset” the country.
