JAMB Launches Pre-Registration App for 2027 UTME

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced the National Digital Pre-Registration App (NDPA) to assist candidates preparing for the 2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). This app enables candidates to conduct much of their registration preparation on mobile devices before visiting accredited centres.

Additionally, JAMB has adjusted the arrival time for candidates taking the first session of the examination from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. to address safety concerns regarding early morning travel to examination centres. The NDPA will allow candidates to research courses, check eligibility, and verify personal information, thus transforming registration centres into final verification points rather than initial engagement points.

The app is designed to function on various mobile phones, with or without an active data connection, and includes a scanning function to minimize registration errors. However, JAMB clarified that the app does not replace the official registration process at accredited centres.
