Adebutu Vows to Protect Ogun Heritage in Campaign Launch

Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu, the Ogun State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), declared his commitment to safeguarding the state's sacred heritage from political mercenaries during the official flag-off of his campaign at Ake Pavilion, Abeokuta, on Wednesday. Adebutu criticized the governance and infrastructure decline over the past 15 years, asserting that the PDP remains dedicated to the masses.

He emphasized his deep-rooted connection to Ogun State, stating that his wealth and enterprises are intertwined with the community. Adebutu proposed a governance agenda centered on "ITURA," aimed at alleviating the suffering caused by the ruling party's maladministration.

He promised to implement five key programs focused on infrastructure, entrepreneurial development, economic resilience, community livability, and accountability. Additionally, he committed to ensuring timely pension payments and granting local governments financial autonomy to foster development, referencing the successful practices of the Otunba Gbenga Daniel administration.
