APM Confirms Makinde's Candidacy for 2027 Elections

The All Peoples Movement (APM) announced on Monday that it has successfully uploaded the details of Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal as a presidential candidate for the 2027 elections. This action aligns with INEC's deadline for political parties to submit their candidates, initially set for July 11 and later extended to July 14.

Abubakar Yusuf, a representative of APM, stated that the party is gaining momentum, particularly following the inclusion of Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed into its fold. APM is committed to winning the 2027 presidential election, emphasizing the need for credible and people-oriented leadership to address Nigeria's challenges, including rising living costs, insecurity, unemployment, and economic decline.

The party believes that Makinde's track record as a prudent manager of public resources positions him as a strong candidate capable of restoring confidence in governance and uniting Nigerians across various divides.
