Super Falcons to Learn 2028 Olympic Qualifiers on Wednesday

The Super Falcons of Nigeria are set to discover their opponents for the 2028 Olympic Games qualifiers on Wednesday. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced that the draw for the African qualifying phase will be held at its headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.

The draw ceremony is scheduled to begin at 12 noon and will be streamed live on CAF TV. A total of 35 national teams, including the Super Falcons, will participate in the qualification competition, which will consist of five qualifying rounds.

The two teams that successfully qualify will represent Africa at the women's football tournament in Los Angeles during the 2028 Olympic Games. Notably, Nigeria and Morocco are the teams that represented Africa at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
