Super Falcons to Learn 2028 Olympics Path Today

The Super Falcons of Nigeria will discover their route to the 2028 Olympics during a draw conducted by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) today in Cairo, Egypt. The draw is set to take place at 1 PM on Wednesday and will be streamed live on the CAF YouTube channel.

A total of 35 national teams are entering the qualification race, reflecting the competitive nature across the continent. The teams include Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Comoros, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritius, Morocco, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Seychelles, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

The qualification structure consists of five rounds, with two African teams ultimately securing tickets to the women's football tournament at the 2028 Olympics, scheduled for July 11-29, 2028, in Los Angeles, United States.
