21 Ships Discharge Petrol and Goods at Lagos Ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) disclosed that a total of 21 ships are currently discharging petroleum products and other commodities at Lagos ports. This information was made available to newsmen on Saturday.

The ships are discharging at various locations, including Apapa, Lekki, and Tin Island ports. The types of products being offloaded include aviation fuel, petrol, diesel, bulk gas, bulk wheat, and other general cargo such as sugar and fresh fish.

Additionally, the NPA stated that 41 ships laden with petroleum products and food items are expected to arrive at Lagos ports between February 28 and March 7. These incoming vessels are anticipated to bring in general cargo, including bulk wheat, bulk sugar, crude oil, fertilizers, and bulk salt.

Currently, 17 ships have arrived at the port and are waiting to berth, carrying bulk urea, diesel, aviation fuel, crude oil, ethanol, and other general cargo.
