Excitement at 2nd NSSF/WAMUFAT Sports Camp in Ogun

The second edition of the WAMUFAT/Nigeria School Sport Federation (NSSF) Annual Sports Fiesta concluded at the Agroterra Sport Complex in Joga-Orile, Ogun State, after five days of activities. Over 300 young athletes, aged 6 to 16, participated from six states in Nigeria’s South-West, engaging in sports such as football, athletics, chess, netball, golf, lawn tennis, and ayo.

The event included professional coaching and sessions on leadership, mentorship, and education aimed at holistic youth development. NSSF President, Mrs.

Olabisi Joseph, emphasized the federation's commitment to grassroots talent discovery and called for support from government and private sectors. WAMUFAT founder, Mrs.

Fatimo Muhammed, announced plans to make the camp a permanent fixture in the region. The event attracted dignitaries including His Royal Majesty Oba Prof.

Saka Adeola Matemilola and Dr. Lukmon Kiadese, culminating in a Community Race Day and awards ceremony for outstanding participants.
