RCCG Outreach Provides Free Medical Services to 300 in Lagos

On Saturday, a free medical outreach organized by the Calvary Zonal Headquarters, Province 89 of The Redeemed Christian Church of God took place in Oshodi, Lagos State, benefiting no fewer than 300 residents. The outreach offered free medical consultations, eye examinations, blood sugar and blood pressure checks, and essential medications.

Pastor Jeffrey Aganbi, the Pastor-in-Charge of the Zone, stated that the initiative aligns with the directive from the General Overseer of RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, to positively impact communities. Aganbi emphasized the need for churches to fill the healthcare gap left by the government and urged faith-based organizations to invest in healthcare and community infrastructure.

Dr. Rotimi Adesanya, a volunteer physician, noted that hypertension was the most common condition detected, urging the government to provide essential medicines free of charge.

Adeboye Oludayo, Chairman of the Abayomi Community Development Association, praised the church for sustaining the outreach, highlighting its importance in improving community health.
