46-Year-Old Man Found Dead in Adamawa, Investigation Ongoing

On March 23, 2026, the Adamawa State Police Command reported the discovery of a lifeless body hanging from a tree in the foothills of Bagal Mountain, Girei Local Government Area. The deceased was identified as 46-year-old Ahm Moham, a resident of Anguwan Hona.

Following the discovery, the police issued a statement confirming that the body was taken to a cottage hospital in Girei, where medical doctors pronounced him dead. The police command has classified the case as a sudden unnatural death and has initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Suleiman Yahaya Nguroj, the public relations officer of the command, urged the public to provide any relevant information that could assist in the ongoing investigation.
