Dr. Kurfi Granted Bail in Defamation Case in Katsina

Dr. Kurfi, a former lecturer at Ahmadu Bello University, was granted bail on July 13, 2026, in an alleged defamation case.

He faces two counts of defamation of character and falsehood, contrary to sections 308 and 309(1) of the Penal Code Law of Katsina State.
