Fatal Kogi Road Crash Claims Six Lives, Injures Two

A tragic road accident occurred along the Kabba–Odo-Ape Road in Kabba-Bunu local government area of Kogi State, resulting in the deaths of six individuals and injuries to two others. The incident took place on Saturday afternoon, as confirmed by Lawal Fagge, the state Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), on Sunday.

The accident involved a collision between a truck and a commercial vehicle, which Fagge attributed to over speeding. He expressed condolences over the loss of life and emphasized the importance of safe driving practices, urging motorists to avoid speeding and driving while fatigued to prevent such incidents.

The bodies of the deceased have been taken to the morgue at the General Hospital in Kabba.
