Six Die in Adamawa Car Crash on Yola-Girei Road

On Friday, a fatal motor accident occurred along the Yola-Girei Road in Adamawa State, resulting in the deaths of six individuals. The Adamawa State Police Command confirmed the incident through its spokesman, Suleiman Nguroje, who reported that a preliminary investigation indicated that all six victims were pronounced dead after being rushed to a hospital.

Police operatives from the Girei Divisional Headquarters, Federal Housing, and the Central Motor Traffic Division were dispatched to the scene to evacuate the victims and restore traffic flow. The Commissioner of Police, CP Kabir Hassan, expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed for their souls.

He also called for calm and urged motorists to adhere to traffic regulations and avoid speeding to prevent further accidents. This incident marks the fourth recorded accident on the Yola-Girei Road within a month, with over ten fatalities reported in that period.
