Musa Criticizes El-Rufai's Divisive Politics in Nigeria

On Thursday, Minister of Defence Christopher Musa expressed that Nigeria could have encountered various challenges if former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai were still involved in politics. Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme, Musa criticized El-Rufai for promoting division among Nigerians, stating that such politicians should not have a place in Nigeria's future.

He praised President Bola Tinubu, describing him as a leader passionate about the country's development and progress. Musa noted that his interactions with Tinubu revealed a genuine desire for Nigeria to advance.

He emphasized the importance of focusing on national unity and development, urging citizens to move past divisive politics. Musa remarked, “If probably El-Rufai had been around, a lot of things would have gone different because he loves that divide and rule.” He called for a new Nigeria that prioritizes unity over division.
