AAC Candidate Eshor Targets Unemployment in Delta State

Engr. Isaac Eshor, the governorship candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in Delta State, declared a commitment to combat unemployment and transform the state into a blue economy hub if elected in 2027. Speaking in Abuja on September 12, 2026, after being endorsed by the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Eshor outlined his plans, which include providing free education, enhancing healthcare, improving electricity supply, and implementing massive youth empowerment initiatives.

He criticized the current state government for failing to utilize its substantial revenues for meaningful development and challenged them to a public debate on economic growth. Eshor proposed building turbine systems to generate electricity for communities and promised a monthly allowance of N100,000 for teachers in primary and secondary schools.

He emphasized the importance of youth empowerment to prevent crime and stressed that his administration would ensure key reforms are legally protected to prevent reversal by future governments.
