Abdul Oroh Announces Bid for House of Reps Seat

Abdul Oroh, a pro-democracy activist, has announced his intention to run for a seat in the House of Representatives representing Owan Federal Constituency on the platform of the Progressive Congress (APC). Oroh previously served in the House from 2003 to 2007.

His declaration was supported by APC leaders across 22 wards in the constituency, including Chief Alidu Ovbiot and Isekhemen Franci Ozoya. Oroh expressed a strong desire to address critical issues facing the constituency, such as insecurity, economic hardship, and infrastructure deficits.

He emphasized the need for effective representation to deliver on these challenges. Former Commissioner Adam Oshiomhole pledged to prioritize the welfare of the people and expressed willingness to collaborate with federal and state authorities, as well as the private sector and international partners, to improve security across the country.
