Abia Lawmaker's Phone Stolen at Uma Ukpai Funeral

During the funeral service for late evangelist Rev. Uma Ukpai in Umuahia, Abia State, a phone belonging to federal lawmaker Amobi Ogah was stolen.

The incident occurred amidst a large gathering that included political figures, religious leaders, and members of the public. Despite heavy security presence, the suspect allegedly blended into the crowd and managed to steal the phone without immediate detection.

Eyewitness accounts suggest that Ogah was engaged in conversation when the theft occurred. Video footage from the event shows the suspect approaching and discreetly taking the phone, taking advantage of the busy atmosphere.

Following the incident, Ogah has appealed to the public for assistance in identifying the suspect and has announced a cash reward of N500,000 for credible information that leads to the recovery of the phone and the arrest of the individual responsible.
