Chief Henry Ikoh Urged to Run for 2027 Abia Governorship

Chief Henry Ikoh, the Abia State Renewed Hope Ambassador, has been encouraged to run for the 2027 governorship election under the All Progressives Congress (APC). This appeal was made by the Nigerian Inter-Tribal Inter-Religion Alliance, represented by its president, Ahaji Mauruf Abubakar Danja, during the alliance's first quarter meeting held at Bolingo Hotel in Abuja.

The statement praised Chief Ikoh's exemplary leadership and vast experience, noting his role as the founder of Harmony Foam and his success in creating thousands of jobs, significantly contributing to the economic growth of Abia State. The statement also highlighted Ikoh's academic credentials and his commitment to lifelong learning.

His political experience includes serving in various capacities, including membership on multiple government councils and as the current chairman of the governing council of the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede. The alliance urged citizens and political stakeholders to support Ikoh's candidacy, emphasizing his qualifications to lead Abia State towards inclusive governance and economic growth.
