APC Aspirant Lucki Igbokw Advocates Youth Empowerment

Lucki Igbokw, an aspirant for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, called on party leaders to give youths a chance in politics. He made this appeal on Monday at the APC state secretariat on Azikiwe Road, Umuahia, during his formal declaration of intent to contest.

Igbokw, who leads the Citi Boi Movement, emphasized the importance of fresh faces in the party to rally support and win elections. He noted that the youth should be given opportunities to hold political office, arguing that their involvement is crucial for the party's growth.

Igbokw aims to mobilize 60,000 youth to support President Bola Tinubu and highlighted his previous political experience, including a strong showing in the 2023 PDP governorship primaries. Abia APC Chairman Chijiok Chukwu acknowledged Igbokw's contributions and stressed the need for effective representation beyond mere eloquence in the National Assembly.
