Tinubu's Reforms Empower States for Infrastructure Growth

Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, representing Lagos East Senatorial District in the Nigerian Senate, emphasized that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's economic reforms are enhancing the financial capacity of state governments, enabling them to execute critical infrastructure and social development projects. Speaking in Sokoto State during the inauguration of the 4.6-kilometer Takatuku-Dandamu road, Abiru noted that these reforms have made the impact of federal government initiatives increasingly visible nationwide.

He commended Governor Ahmadu Aliyu for leveraging these reforms to improve sectors such as healthcare, education, and agriculture. The road project, supported by the World Bank and the French Development Agency, aims to enhance rural access to agricultural markets, reduce transportation costs, and improve access to essential services.

Abiru also acknowledged the role of Sultan Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar III in promoting peace and unity in the state, urging residents to continue supporting both state and federal government initiatives for ongoing development.
