Ijebu Apologizes Publicly After Ogogo's Passing

Nollywood actor Amokade Olatayo, professionally known as Ijebu, issued a public apology on Monday following the death of actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, who passed away on Sunday. In an emotional Instagram video, Ijebu expressed that his heart was heavy and reflected on the vanity of life.

He solicited forgiveness from anyone he may have offended, particularly within the movie industry, stating, “If there’s anyone that I have offended in one way or the other, please forgive me.” He addressed his colleagues, including his boss and younger peers, and emphasized the importance of making peace to alleviate the burden on his heart. Ijebu also conveyed that he has forgiven those who have wronged him, highlighting the transient nature of life and the futility of conflicts, stating, “We came to this world with nothing, and we will leave with nothing.
