ADC Accuses APC of PVC Manipulation in Ekiti State

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has alleged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is involved in a scheme to manipulate the Permanent Voter Card (PVC) collection process in Ekiti State. ADC governorship candidate Dare Bejid claimed that APC agents are illegally collecting PVCs under false pretenses, with the intent to disenfranchise voters.

During a press briefing, ADC campaign spokesperson Gboyega Aribisogan stated that these agents are impersonating Amotekun operatives to intimidate voters and disrupt the electoral process. He called on the Ekiti Amotekun Corps Command, led by Brig Gen Olu Adewa (retd), to take immediate action against anyone found wearing Amotekun uniforms without authorization.

The ADC also accused the APC of violating the Electoral Act 2022 by offering cash and food items in exchange for PVCs. APC spokesperson Segun Dipe dismissed these allegations, asserting that the Amotekun project is legitimate and that the APC is not involved in any voter intimidation tactics.
