Bamidel Criticizes ADC, Supports Oyebanji's Re-election

Senate Leader Bamidel condemned the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as an anti-Yoruba party that undermines Yoruba political interests and destabilizes Nigeria. He made these remarks during a campaign tour in Irepodun Ifelodun Local Government Area, advocating for the re-election of Governor Biodun Oyebanji ahead of the June 20 governorship election.

Bamidel urged residents to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) and warned against backing any party that could disrupt peace in Ekiti State. He emphasized that the upcoming governorship poll is a test for President Bola Tinubu, with a target of 500,000 votes to ensure Ekiti remains secure leading up to the 2027 re-election bid of Oyebanji.

Governor Oyebanji promised to deliver dividends of democracy through infrastructure projects if re-elected.
