ADC Criticizes FG for Low Army Equipment Funding

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) condemned the Federal Government's decision to release only 7% of the funds allocated for army equipment, which totals 336.76 billion Naira. In a statement issued on Tuesday by Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC expressed outrage over the mere 16.71 billion Naira that has reportedly been released.

The party questioned the government's focus on maintaining the presidential fleet while military aircraft remain grounded due to a lack of funding. This criticism comes at a time when insecurity is on the rise in Nigeria, highlighting concerns over the adequacy of military funding and resource allocation.
