ADC Condemns Killings and Abductions in Zamfara State

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) condemned the recent killings and abductions in Zamfara State, describing the attacks as barbaric and unacceptable. In a statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Comrade Anas Haidara Kaura, the party emphasized that the ongoing violence poses a serious threat to peace, security, and the socio-economic wellbeing of the people.

The ADC called on security agencies to immediately launch a coordinated search-and-rescue operation to secure the release of those abducted, urging them to utilize all available intelligence and operational resources for the victims' safe return. The ADC State Chairman, Malam Shehu Maishanu Gulubba, expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and sympathized with the residents of Kasuwar Daji and the entire Kaura Namoda Local Government Area.

The party also appealed to federal, state, and local governments to intensify efforts in protecting lives and property, enhancing security operations, and improving intelligence gathering to combat banditry in Zamfara State.
