Dumebi Kachikwu Claims Vindication in ADC Leadership Crisis

Dumebi Kachikwu, the former presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), expressed his feelings of vindication regarding the internal crisis within the party. Speaking to newsmen in Abuja, he criticized the leadership of David Mark, describing the situation as politically suicidal and detrimental to the party's integrity.

Kachikwu highlighted that the ADC is facing a significant threat from individuals like Ralph Nwosu, the former national chairman, who he accused of attempting to hijack the party. He dismissed recent court rulings and emphasized that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) should not recognize any faction until the legal matters are resolved.

Kachikwu warned that the ADC is in a precarious position, likening it to quicksand, and criticized the actions of former political office holders who he claims are undermining the party. He also mentioned that the party's congress plans are aimed at disenfranchising ordinary members, indicating a broader concern about the party's future and its leadership dynamics.
