ADC Challenges INEC's Delisting Actions, Urges Calm

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has publicly opposed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) regarding its recent move to delist certain parties. In a statement, Mohammed Haruna, the chairman of the ADC's voter education committee, accused INEC of misinterpreting electoral rules and acting under pressure from the government to undermine opposition parties.

Haruna emphasized that INEC's actions contradict the principles of democracy and urged the public to remain calm as the ADC considers its options in response to this situation. Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, a prominent figure within the ADC, also criticized INEC for its perceived bias and failure to clarify its position on the electoral rules.

The ADC insists that it will continue to fight for its rights and the rights of the Nigerian people, asserting that it has gained momentum despite the challenges posed by INEC and the government.
