ADC Confident of Defeating Tinubu in 2027 Election

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has declared its capability to defeat President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 presidential election without forming a coalition with other opposition parties. Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC's National Publicity Secretary, made this assertion during an appearance on Arise TV, emphasizing the party's growing support among Nigerians.

Abdullahi stated, “We don’t need a coalition to win this election,” while acknowledging ongoing discussions with other opposition parties regarding strategies for protecting votes. He argued that the outcome of the election would not be influenced by political strength within the National Assembly but rather by the will of the Nigerian people.

Abdullahi expressed confidence in the ADC's presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and noted that the party has six months to mobilize voters and strengthen its grassroots structure. He framed the 2027 election as a referendum on the performance of the Tinubu administration, asserting that voters would decide if the President deserves another term.
