ADC Holds Special Prayers for Atiku Abubakar's Victory

On September 23, 2026, the Katsina state chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) held special prayers for the success of its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar. The prayers were organized by the party’s House of Assembly Aspirants/Candidates Forum at the Sen. Ahmad Babba Kaita gubernatorial campaign office.

Hon. Abdurrazak Kaita, chairman of the forum, welcomed attendees and explained that Islamic scholars who memorized the Holy Qur’an were invited to recite the Holy Book from beginning to end. This session aimed to call on Allah for assistance regarding the multi-sectoral suffering faced by Nigerians, particularly against corruption and armed banditry.

The Qur’anic recitations began early on Sunday and continued until around 5:30 PM, attracting citizens from various political backgrounds. Abubakar Ahmed, spokesman for Senator Ahmad Babba Kaita, expressed gratitude for the initiative and prayed for a resolution to the hardships in Nigeria.

He also noted that Senator Kaita had recovered from surgery abroad and would soon return to Nigeria for political activities ahead of the 2027 elections.
