ADC's Oyegun Confident of 2027 Election Victory

John Odigi Oyegun, the former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a former governor of Edo State, stated that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is poised to take over Aso Rock in the 2027 general elections. In his address to delegates, Oyegun asserted that the upcoming elections will not be business as usual for political parties in Nigeria.

He lamented the paradox of Nigeria's vast natural resources juxtaposed with the persistent hardships faced by its citizens, attributing these issues to a failure in leadership over the years. Oyegun described the current situation as a call for a renewed hope for change, stressing that the ADC is ready to embark on a mission to rescue the nation.

He pledged that an ADC-led administration would prioritize accountability and enforce consequences for misconduct among public officials.
