Adeleke Safe After Stage Collapse at Ijebu-Jesa Rally

On Wednesday, during a political rally in Ijebu-Jesa, Osun State, Governor Ademola Adeleke narrowly escaped harm when the stage collapsed while he was preparing to address the crowd. The rally was organized to launch the Imol canvass initiative, aimed at promoting the administration's policies across the Obokun/Ife Federal Constituency.

Despite the panic caused by the incident, no injuries were reported among attendees. Security personnel and event organizers quickly responded to restore calm at the venue.

Prominent political figures, including Deputy Governor Kola Adewusi and Osun Accord Chairman Victor Akand, were present at the event. Lawmaker Bamidel Salam confirmed Adeleke's safety on his Facebook page, sharing photographs of the governor alongside other dignitaries.

The rally continued peacefully after the brief disruption caused by the stage collapse.
