Adeleke Urges Workers to Mobilize for Saturday's Election

Osun State Governor Senator Ademola Adeleke has called on all workers in the state to mobilize their relatives and friends to vote in the upcoming election on Saturday and to defend their votes to ensure good governance. In a pre-election message, he praised the labor leadership and workers for their support of his administration.

Adeleke alleged that former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola opposes his re-election out of jealousy towards the Adeleke family. Concurrently, Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), warned against the militarization of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies.

Senator Opeyemi Bamidele emphasized that voters should determine the election outcome, not federal influence. Dr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim of the Accord Party cautioned against inciting violence, while the ADC reported plans to arrest its National Secretary, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

Additionally, the Osun State Police Command questioned Senator Francis Fadahunsi over inciting remarks made in a viral video.
