Adeleke Urges Osun Voters to Reject APC in Election

Ademola Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State and the Accord governorship candidate, has called on residents to vote against the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming governorship election scheduled for August 15. He accused the APC of neglecting civil servants during its tenure, alleging that many workers faced severe economic hardships, including receiving half salaries.

Adeleke stated, “We will not allow APC to take Osun back to the days when civil servants had to beg their neighbours for food.” He urged voters to support his re-election bid, emphasizing the need to maintain progress and good governance. Adeleke defended his administration's record on workers' welfare, asserting that it has been a priority since he took office.

He also mentioned the recent freezing of the Osun State Government’s accounts, expressing confidence that it would galvanize public resolve against the APC. He concluded by urging voters to choose progress and good governance through the Accord Party.
