Adeleke Commissions 10.4km Road in Osun State

On Saturday, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke commissioned the 10.4-kilometre Edunabon-Tonkere Road in Ife North Local Government Area, marking the end of over four decades of neglect. This road restoration is expected to enhance connectivity and boost socio-economic activities in the region.

Following the commissioning, Adeleke held a town hall meeting with traditional rulers, where the Alakinlalu of Akinlalu praised his commitment to development. At a campaign rally in Ipetumodu, Adeleke encouraged residents to remain fearless ahead of the governorship election, asserting that the election would be determined by the people's votes.

He condemned violence and voter intimidation, emphasizing the need to uphold democratic values. Deputy Speaker Akinyode Oyewusi noted that Adeleke's administration has completed 18.2 kilometres of roads in Ife North over two years, highlighting the Edunabon-Tonkere Road as a significant achievement that enhances transport and economic activities in the area.
