Adeoye Bammeke Launches Art Exhibition in Lagos

Adeoye Bammeke's debut solo exhibition, "Divine Patterns of the Mind: Architecture of Thoughts," opens at Untitled Lagos on September 19 and runs until September 24. Bammeke, a trained architect who has transitioned into multidisciplinary art, focuses on the intersection of the built environment and inner life.

Supported by A Whitespace Creative Arts (AWCA) Foundation, the exhibition features works on canvas and paper that utilize geometric forms and intersecting lines to explore themes of memory, perception, and emotion. Bammeke's architectural training is evident in the precision of his compositions, which balance solid forms with open spaces.

The exhibition emphasizes a tension between order and spontaneity, allowing viewers to interpret the works through their own experiences. Curated by Fejiro Praise Oruoghor, the exhibition reflects the complexity of thought and the negotiation between structure and spontaneity in the creative process.
