Tosin Adeyanju Takes Office as RMAFC Secretary

Comrade Tosin Johnson Adeyanju formally assumed the role of Secretary to the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) on August 4, 2026. During the handing over ceremony held at the Commission's new Boardroom, Adeyanju acknowledged the contributions of his predecessor, Engr.

Joseph Nwaze Okechukwu, and committed to collaborating with the Commission's members and staff to fulfill its mandate. He expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his appointment.

Okechukwu, the former Secretary, thanked the Chairman, Dr. Mohammed Bello Shehu, and the Commission's members and staff for their support during his tenure, urging them to extend the same cooperation to Adeyanju.

Prior to this appointment, Adeyanju served as the Executive Secretary of the National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF), where he provided leadership and oversaw the implementation of the Fund’s statutory responsibilities. His new role is expected to strengthen the administrative functions of the RMAFC.
