AFCON 2025: Five Countries Eliminated from Tournament, Including Zimbabwe and Morocco

In the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), at least five countries have been eliminated from the tournament, with Zimbabwe and Morocco being the latest teams to exit. Zimbabwe was beaten 3-2 by South Africa, finishing at the bottom of their group.

Angola drew with Egypt, who finished just two points above the log. Zimbabwe now joins Botswana, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, and Zambia in exiting the tournament.
