Ibe Kachikwu Denies Involvement in Diezani's Bribery Trial Amid Allegations

Former Nigerian Minister of Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, has repeatedly denied any connection to the alleged bribery trial involving his predecessor, Diezani Alison-Madueke, who is currently facing charges in a British court.

The allegations surfaced in October 2023, with claims that Kachikwu received substantial bribes to secure job continuity for a friend at NNPC. Kachikwu vehemently refuted these accusations, emphasizing his commitment to serving the country and maintaining his integrity.
