Akwa Ibom State Delivers 1,048 Housing Units in 3 Years

The Akwa Ibom State Government, under Governor Umo Eno, has successfully delivered 1,048 housing units across various categories in less than three years, as reported by Commissioner Aniekan Ummanah during a live radio program on Comfort FM. The housing units include 438 units at Compassion Home, 230 units at Grace Estate, 100 units at Aviat Village, and 100 units at the Medical City.

Additional projects include 64 units at the Executive Council Quarters, 50 units at the Judiciary Quarters, 35 units at Ewet Luxury Garden, and 31 units for local government chairmen. Ummanah noted that the housing development remains a focal area of the administration's agenda, with 150 civil servants benefiting from 150 housing units provided free of charge.

Furthermore, 355 vulnerable individuals received housing at Compassion Home, which was completed against a target of 500. Plans are underway to unveil an additional 150 townhouse units along Reclaim Uyo Village Road, further increasing the housing units delivered across the state.
