Umo Eno Urges NYSC Members to Leave Lasting Legacies

During a ceremony on Tuesday, Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State addressed members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at the orientation camp in Nsit Atai Local Government Area. He encouraged the corps members to leave enduring legacies in their host communities and to maintain or surpass the achievements of their predecessors.

Eno, represented by Emmanuel Akpabio, Director of Youth Development in the Ministry of Youth Development, highlighted Akwa Ibom as a peaceful and hospitable state, urging the corps members to integrate with local communities and respect cultural values. He stressed the importance of civic responsibility in building a prosperous society and advised against traveling at night for safety reasons, urging corps members to ensure their travel plans are shared with family and friends.

Eno emphasized that serving the nation is a rare opportunity that should be approached with honesty and dedication.
