Air Tanzania's flight from Dar es Salaam to Lagos was grounded due to a technical fault, leading to passengers being stranded in Lagos. The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) intervened, ensuring affected passengers were provided with hotel accommodations, meals, and updates.

Michael Achimugu, the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at NCAA, emphasized the importance of safety and customer care. Passengers were assured of later flights despite the unusual weekend operation by Air Tanzania in Nigeria.
