Ajiyan Prioritizes Security and Youth Empowerment in Senate Agenda

Umar Ajiyan, the APC senatorial candidate for Sokoto East, has outlined his Senate agenda, placing a strong emphasis on security as a top priority. Speaking to journalists in Sokoto, Ajiyan highlighted the urgent challenge of insecurity facing Sokoto State and the northern region, advocating for proactive security strategies and adequate funding for armed forces.

He stressed the importance of legislative oversight to ensure that projects approved for the constituency are fully executed and fairly distributed. Ajiyan also addressed the rising unemployment among youth, warning that it poses a serious threat to national stability.

He pledged to champion policies that create jobs and expand economic opportunities for young people. Additionally, he underscored the significance of education, urging the government to invest in scholarship programs for disadvantaged children.

Ajiyan commended Sokoto State Governor Ahm Aliyu for his commitment to tackling insecurity and expressed optimism that collaboration between federal and state governments would significantly improve security and accelerate development across Sokoto State.
