Akpabio Lauds Eno's Leadership at Ibom Air Ceremony

On Thursday, Godswill Akpabio, the Senate President, commended Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno for his leadership during a reception at the Victor Attah International Airport in Uyo. The event marked the arrival of a new Airbus A220-300 for Ibom Air, the state-owned airline.

Akpabio described Eno as an invaluable asset to the state, noting similarities in their leadership styles. He praised Eno's transformational leadership, particularly in expanding the airport and improving air connectivity between Akwa Ibom and other regions.

Akpabio acknowledged the governor's investment in human capital development within the aviation sector, specifically the training of Akwa Ibom indigenes at various aviation institutions. He assured Eno of his continued partnership in promoting the state's growth.

Eno, in turn, regarded the new aircraft as a significant milestone for Ibom Air, emphasizing its role in enhancing regional connectivity and the competitiveness of Nigerian airlines.
