Alliance Hospital Launches New Pediatrics Center in Abuja

Alliance Hospital officially opened its pediatrics center in Abuja, with a ceremony attended by various dignitaries, including Dr. Chris Otabor, the CEO and Medical Director of the hospital.

The center aims to combat the high rates of infant and maternal mortality in Nigeria. Dr.

Otabor stated that the motivation behind the center's establishment is to end the era of deaths among mothers and infants. He highlighted the inadequacies of existing pediatric facilities across Nigeria, which often lack the necessary equipment for effective medical care.

The opening of the center is seen as a crucial step in addressing significant health challenges. Dr.

Manasseh Daniel Jatau, the Deputy Governor of Gombe State, commended the hospital for its medical interventions and the need for collaboration between the government and private sector to enhance healthcare delivery. The event also featured a tour of the facility, showcasing its capabilities to provide specialized care.
