AMAC Engages Brazil on Bioeconomy and Renewable Energy

The Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) has initiated discussions with the Embassy of the Federative Republic of Brazil in Abuja to explore technical cooperation and knowledge exchange in areas such as bioeconomy and renewable energy. This engagement, led by AMAC Vice Chairman Hon. Yusuf Muhammed Nadabo, is part of AMAC's strategy to promote sustainable grassroots governance through its Digital 10K Agenda and Green AMAC Agenda.

These agendas focus on digital skills, youth empowerment, climate resilience, and environmental sustainability. Hon. Nadabo emphasized the historical ties between Nigeria and Brazil, highlighting shared demographics and a commitment to innovation for inclusive development.

The Brazilian Embassy, represented by Minister-Counsellor Mr. Leandro A. Da Silva, acknowledged the initiative and expressed willingness to study AMAC's proposals.

The discussions reflect AMAC's goal of translating international cooperation into local impact, particularly for youth opportunities and institutional capacity building.
