AMAC Seeks Brazil's Support for Digital and Green Initiatives

The Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), represented by Vice Chairman Hon. Yusuf Muhammed Nadabo, is seeking Brazil's support for its Digital 10K and Green AMAC initiatives.

These programs aim to enhance digital skills, youth empowerment, climate resilience, energy security, and environmental sustainability. Nadabo emphasized the historical ties between Nigeria and Brazil, noting their shared youthful populations and interest in innovation for inclusive development.

He expressed AMAC's desire to learn from Brazil's experience in areas such as bioeconomy, renewable energy, and waste management. Mr.

Leandro A. da Silva, the Minister-Counsellor of the Brazilian Embassy, acknowledged the strong relations between the two countries and indicated that the embassy would review AMAC's proposals. Hon.

The engagement is part of the Maikalangu administration's broader strategy to establish international collaborations for local community benefits.
