AMACOG ’92 Set Honors Late Eagle Online Publisher Dotun Oladipo

The Association of Mass Communication Graduates (AMACOG) ’92 Set of Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta, expressed deep sorrow over the death of their member, Dotun Oladipo, who served as the Publisher of Eagle Online. Oladipo passed away on Tuesday, August 25.

In a statement released on Wednesday and signed by the association's President, Adekunle Adeshina, the group highlighted Oladipo's significant contributions to journalism through his online platform and his warm, kind, and energetic presence within the association. They described him as a "mobiliser per excellence, a motivator, a goal getter, and highly passionate," emphasizing his dedication to the development of the group.

The association extended heartfelt condolences to Oladipo's family, particularly his widow, Mrs. Taiwo Oladipo, known as Ayaba, and expressed solidarity with his mother, children, and the entire Oladipo family during this difficult time. They prayed for divine comfort and strength for the family and expressed confidence that Oladipo had gone to be with the saints.
