Governor Mutfwang Mourns Veteran Journalist Dotun Oladipo

Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang of Plateau State extended heartfelt condolences to the Oladipo family and the Nigerian media industry upon the passing of Dotun Oladipo, the Publisher of Eagle Online Newspaper and a veteran journalist. In a statement issued by Gyang Bere, the Director of Press and Public Affairs, Mutfwang described Oladipo as an ace journalist whose contributions significantly shaped public discourse, democracy, and Nigeria's international image.

He commended Oladipo's decades-long career characterized by professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to ethical journalism. Mutfwang also highlighted Oladipo's dedication to mentoring younger journalists, which helped cultivate a new generation in the field.

He recalled a cherished encounter with Oladipo during a visit by the Nigerian Guild of Editors to Plateau State. Mutfwang emphasized that Oladipo's death is a monumental loss not only to his family and the journalism profession but also to the entire media community and the nation.
