Anambra APC Promises Strong Turnout for Presidential Primary

The Anambra State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), under the leadership of Senator Emmanuel Anosike, has committed to a robust turnout for the presidential primary set for May 23, 2026. Anosike announced this readiness during a press briefing at the party's state headquarters in Awka on Friday.

He emphasized that adequate security measures would be implemented across all political wards in the state to ensure a smooth electoral process. The state executive committee will supervise the primary to ensure Bola Tinubu emerges as the party's candidate for the January 16, 2027 general elections.

Anosike expressed confidence that the APC would secure victory in Anambra State, contributing to good governance in Nigeria. He also noted the successful conduct of the recent primary elections for the House of Representatives and the state House of Assembly, which saw a peaceful turnout and the selection of 27 candidates for the upcoming polls.

Anosike commended Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma for his financial support towards the growth of the APC in Anambra.
