Anambra Comedian Nwosu Shot Dead in Cult-Related Attack

Anambra comedian Nwosu was shot dead on Sunday night along S.M. Okeke Street in the Amaikwo area.

Reports indicate that three gunmen in a tinted vehicle followed Nwosu from his residence, blocked his vehicle, and opened fire, leaving him dead inside. Following this attack, the assailants drove to another location on Capital City Road, Amaenyi, where they shot another unidentified man by the roadside and allegedly stole his belongings.

The circumstances surrounding these killings remain unclear, although some residents have suggested a link to suspected cult-related violence. Security operatives arrived shortly after the attacks, and videos circulated online showing the victims lying at separate locations as residents gathered around the scenes.

The police have not yet established a motive for the attacks.
